Where is the PDF file located? Is it on an external source by any chance? Try to make sure that you're working with all local files, if possible. You may also want to check the file name for any special characters, as well as the file path.
1. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
2. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
3. Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.

This feedback is helpful. I have the file in my personal local drive, not C, but my H drive. Never had this problem before. The only change is upgrading to Storyline 2 recently. I bought the premier package with instant support, but not sure how to access that.

Hi Tom!
I would agree with Christine that it is best to work from your local C: drive. More info on that can be found here.
