Each time I attempt to publish a Storyline 3 file as a Word document, there is no Word file, or any file, in the folder on the local drive when I open it.
I am using Windows 10, Microsoft 2016 on my Mac with a Parallels desktop. I am attempting in publish with the layers and notes with medium screenshot size.
Hi there Mark, thanks for your post! Have you noticed that this happens when you publish any Storyline file for Word, or just this file in particular? Does this window appear when the publish completes, or does it end unexpectedly?
Yes, that particular window does appear when I have attempted to publish a word document with different files.
But I think I have solved the problem. In Windows 10, I assigned Word 2016 as a default app for opening documents. Works OK now. Never occurred to me that this needed to be done, but I am using Parallels desktop on my Mac. Not A PC guy, so there may be the problem.

Hey Mark!
Sorry that's happening- let's get to the bottom of it together.

Hello to you both,

Interesting insight, Mark! That wouldn't have occurred to me either, so I'm really glad you shared it here.
Let us know if you run into any other hiccups! 😄
