I have recently upgraded Storyline 360 with the most recent version and now my output in SCORM won't run in the LMS tool I'm using. The eCourse runs ok when I run it in preview mode, View Project after publishing, run the project from the Storyline output but when I zip it up and upload to my LMS the navigation stops working. The project opens up OK but when I try and navigate to the next slide, the little wheel keeps spinning.
Thanks for the responses. I upload to Relias LMS and I"ve tried the course in Windows Edge, Firefox and Chrome and continue to get the same problem. When I upload a package I've created in a previous version of Storyline in the same test course it runs without any issues.
Hi again - I wanted to provide a quick update! Our team identified an issue with courses not progressing in some learning management systems (including Relias) after the latest update.
I'm going to include this discussion in our report so we can provide you with any updates on this issue. Thanks again, for the details, Geoff, and I'm sorry for the setback.
I work for Relias and this is impacting our clients ability to create courses. I was wondering if you could provide any updates on the status of the Articulate -> Relias course playing problem?
Thanks for your help. Let me know if there is information that I can provide.
Thanks for checking in, Stewart. So sorry this bug is a roadblock for your clients. We know this is frustrating for our customers, and we're still working through this issue to find a solution as soon as possible. Now that you're subscribed to this thread, you'll be notified immediately when we share an update here.
Interesting I'm experiencing a similar issue but it's happening in preview mode, not after I publish. Learner is supposed to click on a button and it should jump to a slide. But when you click, you just get the spinning wheel of death.
local browser security settings often cause issues which is why it is recommended to publish and test your output in the intended environment for users - web or LMS etc.
The problem I have with that is I want my SME to be able to review the training and add comments using Review. When I publish to Review, I get this same problem.
I see you're working with Miker in your support case, and he requested the Articulate 360 logs from your computer. Be sure to let us know if you have any questions about that!
The only solution I've been given at this point is to uninstall the latest version and reinstall the previous version. Did this and resolved my problems.
Hi Holly, sorry just saw your response now. Let me know if you still need help with downgrading to the previous version. I just uninstalled and then I have a link for the previous install.
Hi Gerry - no need. I got it this morning and now i can upload SCORM files to Relias that work again. :) Bless you for asking this question in the first place!

Hi Geoff
perhaps if you let us know which LMS you are using - folks might have some input for you. Also which browser are you using to access the LMS?

Hi Geoff. I'm sorry you're seeing that behavior. Thanks for running some tests in different browsers to confirm!
We use SCORM Cloud as our test environment for LMS issues. If you've already uploaded your course to SCORM Cloud, let me know what you saw there, too.
Can you share a copy of your .story file with me for testing? I'd like to have a look at your setup.

I guess that's good news to hear I am not crazy or doing something wrong :)
Do you still want me to provide a sample of my SCORM package?
This build gaves us headaches too! and still do.
A course that were working perfectly before develops somes glitches when saved with this new version. Even in previewing.
I opened a support ticket for this.
This new version seems a nightmare to many. What a deception.

Is there a list of LMS systems impacted by this? Or is it just Relias at this point?

Sorry I misunderstood. Hope you get it sorted soon

I was also given this advice Geoff. Hasn't fixed my problems. Alyssa I have sent my logs through last week. Would be great to have an update :)
Hi Suzanne
have you tried updating to the latest version and checking if it works?
Hi Wendy, Yes I have. Thanks
Hi Suzanne,
Looks like Miker has reached back out to you regarding those logs.
Geoff, how did you do this? I put in a ticket, but I can't wait 2 days for a reply. I'm in a panic and would love to reverse all updates after 1/31.
Hi Holly,
Sorry to hear that you've run into an issue as well.
Thanks for reaching out to our support team. I've added a note to link them to this discussion as well. You should be hearing from someone soon.
Ah, thanks, Leslie. I know it will get cleared up. I also sent screenshots of my log files--hopefully they can sort out my mess. :)
Sounds great Holly. Looks like Ryan is helping you out :)
