Problems with Firefox displaying text box
May 23, 2017
I'm having trouble figuring out why I'm getting weird text display in Firefox. The full text box on a slide doesn't display until the user clicks somewhere on the screen. I've got the most up to date flash plug-in for Firefox. I set it to Always Activate and still have the same problem. I also tried “unchecking” Enable Protected Mode in the plug-in settings and still have the same problem. This seems to only be a problem in FireFox. Everything works perfectly fine in Chrome and IE.
Please see the attached screen shot for an example of the improperly loaded text box.
Thanks,

Hi Mary Alice,
That screenshot was really helpful, thank you! I have a few more questions that'll help me narrow down why this is happening:
I'm using Storyline 2. Published to the web. Then I saved it as a zip file and extracted the files. then clicked on the story.html5 that I saved to my computer. It opened in Firefox (my default browser) and everything was fine. But when we published it to my company's website, that's when I noticed the weird probelms with Firefox. And only Firefox.
Hey MaryAlice!
Thanks for the details here. That's quite odd! Can you share your unpublished .story project file here so I can do some testing with it? You can add it right to a comment like this:
Thanks again!
