Problems with greek language

Feb 28, 2013

Hi all,

I created some greek quiz, but I have problems with the visibility of the greek letters. In my word document they are shown in greek letter (typo is "Caviar dreams greek"),  when I import the document into storyline it´s fine aswell. But when I want to correct the size, lenght or anything else, some letters turn back to latin! I tried it several times now... what can I do? Any suggestions?

Thanx in advance!

Hi San,

That does sound odd. The language is changing back to the original after adjusting the formatting for the text? How are you placing the text into Storyline? Are you using the import feature, or copying and pasting into the course?

Also, what version of Storyline are you currently using? You can find this information by clicking on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline" If you're not running version 2 (1212.1412), please download and install Update 2 from the link below:

Hi All

Apologies, i know this post is very old but i can't find answer to my problem anywhere else. I am having the exact same problem as described above. I want to translate my contents of project into Greek language and i've tried both Copy/Paste and Export/Import methods. I am using Textbox to copy/import translated text which is done OK but as soon as i click on Textbox to resize then some letters are turned back to Latin alphabets. I've downloaded the latest Storyline version Update 5: 1401: 2415 with no luck.

Any other suggestions?

Thank you very much.

Hi Shaz,

I'm sorry to hear about the odd behavior with your importing. I'd want to confirm that you were following the guidelines here in regards to translating content and the guidelines here for working on your project files, including the Word files and .story files.

If some of the text is not coming in, you'll also want to ensure you didn't change any of the information in the ID column.
