Problems with Markers

Feb 10, 2015

Another problem that's driving me crazy concerns markers.

I've added a marker to remind folk just what they should be doing in a simulation, but when they click the marker to view it, the 'Incorrect' screens pop up. Does anyone know how I can stop this behaviour please?

Example file attached. (Please note any person details displayed are fake, and bear no relationship to any persons living or dead etc)...

Hi Paul,

You forgot to change a setting in your form view. This causes the question to be submitted when you make your click. And since you click outside the correct area it thinks you answered incorrectly and opens the feedback. (it happens also when you do not click the 'i' marker). If you set it to player button, you wait for the user to submit the answer and then validate the question.

And maybe best to change the setting for your marker that you do not need to click on it to open, but a hover suffices (open the options using the ribbon on top after selecting your marker).

Greetings,

Hi Christophe,

the  user shouldn't be submitting the answer to this, the idea is for them to follow the process as they would in the real world, so a submit button isn't appropriate. They need to click in the right place to bring up the next screen... I should have taken the submit button off completely... However, the tip for show all on hover is a help, and I can get it to work from that I think.

Thanks very much  :-)

Paul
