Hi, Emilie -- Sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties! Have you tried importing your file into a new file and then tried attaching the PDFs via Resources, as well? Please let us know if that is helpful, and if issues persist, you may want to take a look at this information on Unexpected or Erratic Behavior in Storyline 1, and run through the repair steps.
You are also welcome to share your file and we will gladly take a look. :)

Yes I tried to import my file into a new file but it did not work.
