Problems with state changes

I am having an issue with my state changes acting correctly. I am trying to get the objects to change and to change at the correct time. I noticed that on my main game board that the object changes immediately after being clicked on before bringing me to the next slide (which isn't a big deal). The part that I am having a big problem is on my review board. They are showing the correct state when you initially go to that slide but as you go re-answer the question and you must do before returning to the review board it doesn't show the new state. I have tried creating new states and change the order of my triggers but I have not been able to get it to work correctly. I have attach a video on Storyline stepping through the problem and the triggers associated with the object. 

Could you please help me figure out where I am going wrong in my triggers?
