Problems with Storyline

Hi all,
I seem to be having a few problems with Storyline.
- It seems to crash too many times for my liking and for no apparent reason (sometimes when I am publishing...)
- Sometimes it doesn't seem to publish. For example, once I have done a course and I click the publish button and it does nothing or it starts to publish and then stops and when I go to the destination folder on my PC there's just a few empty folders in there!!!
I am starting to think if this application is actually stable!
Have any of you lot experienced the same problems?

Hi Keith,
First you'll want to check that you're using the latest update of Storyline, update 5 available here.
Next, can you also confirm that you're creating and editing local project files, and then publishing to a local drive? You will also want to ensure that your file name doesn't include any special characters, accents, or symbols and that the file path is under the 260 character limit imposed by Microsoft. Publishing adds characters to the file path you selected. If it exceeds 260 characters, your published output will be incomplete.
Lastly after confirming the above, if you're still experiencing odd behavior I'd recommend following the troubleshooting steps here to fix odd or unusual Storyline behavior.
Please let us know how it behaves after checking into all of the above.
