Problems with the audio

The audio plays automatically because it starts playing whenever it appears on the timeline.

Here's one way to do what you want:

• Add a layer to the slide.
  • Put the audio on the layer. 
  • Set the Layer Properties to "Reset to initial state" when revisiting.
  • Add a trigger to the layer that hides the layer when its timeline ends.
  • If you the want the user to be able to temporarily pause and then restart the audio, add buttons for that on the layer. 
• For your "Play Audio" button on the base, use a trigger that shows the layer with the audio. 
  
  • This will show the layer and, thus, start its timeline, which will play the audio.
