Problems with video on new iOS system

It seems that after many new releases of operating system updates from Apple our video content does not play on iPads and some other Apple devices. I found the page on the Articulate site that discusses the Articulate Updater. If I understand correctly this is an app that will automatically update our content to play on these devices without re-publishing every single course module when there is an update. Is that correct and have others had success with the updater doing this?
