If you have a well designed PP, you are well on your way. The first and most important step is to plan what it is that you want in the presentation that is not already in your well designed slides, that con be put there only by using SL.
Once you know that, it is fairly simple. Start a new SL project, import the slides from PP. Then add the items from step 1.
