Project Completion
Sep 18, 2012
Is there a publishing option within Storyline that will allow a project to only report to an LMS as complete is the user reaches the Target Score? The LMS I am working in is removing the course from assigned training and due to LMS configuration the learner can not access the quiz again in the course catalog. I have tested in another LMS and the same projects work fine. I am thinking it is an LMS issue because the LMS that is giving me this issue is not hosted by my company, whereas the other LMS I tested in is hosted by my company.
I researched with my contacts of the LMS I am having issues with and they insisted that I reach out to the software developers. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Brian

Hi Brian,
It does sound like an LMS issue. You might want to refer to the following article, which outlines common issues pertaining to viewing and tracking content in an LMS:

Also, be sure to package your published content properly for your LMS:

If the issue persists, I'd recommend opening a support case with your LMS provider, since they're your primary source of support for LMS tracking and reporting issues.
Hi Peter,
Thank you for the response. After reviewing your links, I am most certain it is the LMS. I had a pretty good feeling it was because the same issue is occuring with other authoring tools I use. I appreciate your input. Just wanted to get that confirmation.

Sure thing, Brian. Good luck with the course.
