I agree with Wendy and Noel's terrific advice here (thank you both!) – and I see you're working closely with Shiela from our Support team on other approaches. Fingers crossed!
While it's tough to find the source of corruption, we have these tips that help protect your files from the risk. Saving to your local C: drive and closing Storyline daily are two of the easiest ways to protect your work.
I'm having the same issue. SL crashed during publish to LMS and now the saved file won't open. I'm on V 3.29.19305.0 but do not see a document recovery window.
So sorry you're running into a corrupt file. Thanks for opening a case and sending a copy of your file. My colleague, Chino, is taking a look. You'll hear back from him shortly!

Hi Owen
I'm sure you tried it but rebooting has worked for me in this instance although my case was uploading to an FTP site. SL thinks the upload is still happening. So I cleared caches and rebooted and it worked for me. Hope support can help you out.
Deadlines missed and a day 1/2 later... I've rebuilt what was lost. I appreciate support's efforts but nothing was recoverable. Worst of all, I've only myself to blame for not following my own SOP. 🙈🙊

C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Articulate\Storyline.
Storyline stores temporary files in that folder by default, and there
If Wendy's suggestions don't work, you can also try importing it into a new Storyline file.
If none of these options work, you can send it to the Articulate Support team - they may be able to recover it for you.
Sorry you've come across that error, Bahar!

Also, if you do run into a corrupt file again, Storyline 360 now helps you recover the project.

Duplicating the file didn't work. Nothing in temp.
Tried Noel's suggestion and all the slides showed available for import... however....
