Project Not Importing Translation Word Doc Oct 07, 2014 By Stefanie Gettemans I am having an issue importing my Spanish translation into my project.. Everything is saved locally. The file names as are follows: Translation file Defensive Driving Practices 1 - Intro-Proactive Driving (US) 140909_ES-MX Module file Defensive Driving Practices 1 - Intro-Proactive Driving (US) 140909 I have never had a problem with importing files like this until today... The error continues to read "Not a valid Word document"... Can someone help? Thank you! -Stefanie

I have seen this error come up before, in this thread, but it seems working locally solved the issue. Can you open this document in Word without any error messages? Can you attach the word file here for us to look at? you can use the paperclip icon.

Attached is the SL1 file. You may wan to try these steps with Storyline to see if it corrects to issue. translation+file.story
