Opened up storyline and noticed the properties pane on the right of the screen was not there. This is where you add triggers, view/add/edit slide layers, and change slide properties.
Didn't find anythng online, maybe a terminology issue. Does anyone know how to get it to display again?
On the far right of your screen, there's a grey line next to the scroll bar, pull that to the left and release it to bring the trigger/variable pane back.
The only way I've found to make the pane disapper is to put my cursor over the border so it turns into a line with an arrow on both sides and then clicking and dragging to compress or expand the pane. Not sure if that's what happened for you, but you could try putting your cursor over the border on the right until it gives you the arrows, then drag to the left.
Wow...this is hard to explain in writing. I attempted to take a screenshot, but it doesn't show my cursor so it's of little help.
Good luck!
P.S. I see Jesse's post now - probably makes a lot more sense than what I was trying to say.
