What's the possibility of getting Storyline 2 to be LTI compliant? Has there been any movement on this in the past 8 months? This would be a huge advantage of using storyline (for reporting and managing outcomes in several different modules across a course). Getting AS2 to play nice and report outcomes is currently a major hurdle to more widespread integration and use of AS2 right now.
Thanks for the info. I've submitted a request. Consequently, it would be nice if users could voice their support for feature requests. This would give Articulate a view into their users' wishes for their products. If this exists and I'm ignorant of it, please point me in the right direction.
If a way to vote on feature requests doesn't exist, I'd encourage anyone reading this thread who would like to vote for LTI compliance to show their support on this thread.
There is not a way to vote for feature requests at this time. The idea has been discussed here before, so our development team is aware of the request. Please continue to share other ideas through the link above :)
Unfortunately there is not any update to share at this time in regards to LTI compliance. You're welcome and encouraged to share your thoughts in the form of a feature request as well.
Ashley, thanks for the update. Inasmuch as LTI is becoming the standard for an increasing number of LMSs, it would be fantastic if Articulate would find a solution involving LTI. That would encourage more people to use it instead of other Authoring tools.
I don't see or hear alot about LTI compliance in the E-Learning Heroes community - so I'm not sure how broad it's use it, but I suspect that is playing a role in our current set up of not having an option for it. Not to that that won't change, but the more we hear from customers in terms of that as a need - certainly the better!
Thanks for the quick reply again, Ashley. I understand that it's hard to judge the need for something when you don't see it in your forums a ton. Feature requests can easily get lost in spaces that are dedicated to other things. I would once again recommend that Articulate offer a way for its users to make and vote on feature requests. That might give a lot better idea of interest in different topics, esp. ones that might seem more esoteric but that many would readily support.
Additionally, it would be really nice if Articulate published a roadmap so that we might know what features are coming down the pipe. I understand that such things can set up unreasonable expectations, so you have to be careful with a roadmap, but knowing where things are headed helps to make decisions on which tools to use for different jobs.
But in all honesty, a public facing feature request or road map is something our team has discussed and continue to think about, but it's not an option right now.
:) Thanks, for the info, Ashley. One of the things I tell my students is that Articulate has one of the best developer communities around. I appreciate the updates and hope that you all continue to improve the product.
Always looking to improve - just can't tell you on what. ;) But of the things I've heard I'm pretty excited...so hope you'll be just as thrilled when we're able to share!
Just hoping in... a prospective client. We are looking for a LTI compliant tool. Articulate looks awesome and would like to be part of the E-Learning Heroes community (if it had it). Just make a note those outside of this community, there might be a different demand.
Hi there, I am handing in a feature request as well, but I just wanted to let you guys know that our LMS provider will stop working with SCORM modules in the near future and will only be LTI compliant. LTI is definitely the future of e-learning, I really hope Articulate won't miss out on this development.
My company is now receiving requests for content to be published in LTI format. Since this thread is 4 years old, is articulate going to make any push to integrate LTI?
We've not made any decisions on LTI, as it's a competitor of SCORM, and our output currently can be exported for SCORM, AICC, and Tin Can API. Among those three categories, it covers a large share of the options for tracking, reporting, and connecting content to a Learning Management System (LMS).
We'll continue to track requests here in E-Learning Heroes and any submitted as a feature requesthere.
The CAPP LMS (provider is Defacto) will stop working with SCORM modules in 2020 and will only be LTI compliant. So we need a LTI asap in Storyline and Rise.
HELP! I've also admitted a feature request (#02047156) for publishing modules as LTI. My clients also want my modules to be LTI compliant and they stop using SCORM modules. I've jobs cancelled because of the impossiblity to publish as LTI! We are really in great need of an LTI output asap....

Hello Harsh, and welcome to Heroes.
At this time Storyline is not LTI Compliant or LTI Certified.
Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi Peter!
At this time we are not LTI compliant. You can submit a feature request for this.

Hi,
Any update on whether Storyline is now LTI compliant?

It would certainly make my life easier. ;-)

My clients wants LTI compliant e-learnings now. Scorm is outdated. So please make Storyline compliant asap because we will lose clients.
Thanks for chiming in, Ger. If we add LTI compliance in the future, we'll be sure to let you know!

Fully agree. It’s about time Articulate has to support LTI.

I also got the first question to publish as LTI.
Articulate should support as many standards as possible. I added a feature request (#01998893)
Hi Chris!
I just saw your feature request! Our team will take a look. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!

I will submit a feature request.
