Sep 04, 2014

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are doing fine. For one of the requirement i just wanted to know if it is possible to publish an Articulate Storyline module in LTI format.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Thank you

So... I see that the request for LTI support is over 6 years old on this community. The same goes for a request for a roadmap.

I know that Articulate has worked on great stuff every year, but I really would like to know when LTI will be supported, otherwise I will need to look into different development tools as more and more LMS's are not supporting SCORM or xAPI/Tincan anymore.

Hi Thomas,

I want to clarify our plans for adding LTI support. Currently, we don't have that feature on our roadmap as we're investing in features that have the broadest impact on the majority of customers.

If we do decide to add this feature, we promise to let you know. I hope this allows you to make informed decisions as you move forward with course development.

Hello, I would love for Articulate to add LTI compliance on the product roadmap. We at Nexford University are eager to integrate tools into our courses. Our entire product catalog of 100+ courses is delivered through Articulate Rise.

Note - I have also submitted this as a feature request (Number: 02508374)

Thank you,

Are you (as Articulate) taking this thread and LTI support serious?

This is a very serious subject in e-Learning world as many huge LMS providers are choosing to phase out SCORM or choose not to support it at all. We are in need of a solution, otherwise we are forcing to look outside the Articulate software scope as you are choosing to ignore taking this into the future road map.

And don't understand me wrong, I love Articulate, but following this thread, it is a big shame you are ignoring the increasing demand in the Articulate user community to find a solution for this.

Hello Judith!

Apologies if it came across that this thread was being ignored! I can assure you that isn't the case as we are keeping a close eye on the progression of LTI and the Learning Management Systems who are considering the removal of SCORM. In April, we added cmi5, which is the newest LMS standard Storyline 360 supports. We are currently tracking this thread to understand how LTI support would impact our customers and which Learning Management Systems are making the switch. As I mentioned, this is currently being discussed, so I don't have an update or timeline to share yet, but we'll report back to this discussion when we have an update to share.
