Publish course in html5 and a disabled Flash player is causing course errors

Jul 18, 2017

Hello All,

This topic may have been addressed before but here goes. We are publishing our courses using Storyline 2 in the html5 format and using Greenlight. We have found that most of the courses encounter errors with graphics and video. The fix has been enabling the browser's Flash player. Does anyone know if the two work together in a course or if Greenlight uses Flash to play a course? We appreciate all the help offered!!

Hi Michael!

I'm not familiar with Greenlight, but typically a great way to test if an issue lies within the project file or the LMS is to test via SCORM Cloud.

If you are able to replicate, we typically would like to take a look. If not, you may want to follow up with your LMS.

You did mention the HTML5 output, so I wanted to mention that we typically advise sharing the story.html file and allowing Storyline to determine the version as you can see in this documentation.
