Publish offline courses to USB

Jun 14, 2016

I am wanting to publish courses to USB for people who do not have access to the internet, there would also be multiple students using one training computer. The publish to CD/USB is an option but the tracking file that allows people to resume where they left off is stored on the C: drive, this creates problems if multiple people are using the one computer as one person could over write someone elses data if they click on restart. I was wonderring if someone has found a way around this problem. The ideal for me would be to issue a person with a USB that they would keep until they finished the course but this would mean redirecting the tracking file to the USB. I did contact Articulate for support but they pretty well scrubbed me off.

Hi David,

Here is an older thread about publishing to CD and still using the resume behavior in the event that helps. The resume files are hosted locally as you pointed out, and any change to that is not something we'd be able to offer support for, which I suspect it what our Support Engineers also mentioned.
