publish problems

Jul 11, 2016

Hi,

I have created and previewed the Articulate file, and all the interactions are good. However, after I published it, the interactions keep crashing. I do not know why. Is it because too much technical burden there.

Hi np!

Sorry for the trouble you're seeing. If you view an Articulate Storyline course on your local hard drive (or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive),  you may encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail.

To test on my end, I published your file using the option Publish for CD so that I could view it locally on my desktop. When reviewing the published course, all of your interactions appear to be working as expected. To properly test your published content and share it with others, please make sure to view it in the environment for which it was published. For instance, if you were to publish for the web you would want to make sure to test it in a web environment.

Hi,

I published in we environment(see attached) and saw it on the Chrome. Some interactions still not working. For example, in the general physical exam part, students are required to drag the tools on the patient to conduct physical exams. However, the interactions are not working (see attached).

Also, the interaction for the scroll function is not working either. (see attached).

Hi NP,

Thanks for the update! I published for the web using the settings you provided then uploaded the zipped published file to tempshare to test. I was not able to reproduce the results you are seeing while viewing it in Chrome on my end. Check out this link to your course on tempshare and let me know if you're still seeing those issues. Please note that this is a temporary link and will only be active for 10 days. You may also want to try uploading to Tempshare on your end as well for testing purposes. Let me know how that goes!
