I am trying to publish my project to MS Word. I click publish and the system appears to go through the process of building the Word file. When complete, the complete dialog box appears but no file is present in the destination folder, can anyone help please. I am currently running Word 2013.
I am using update 5. I was trying several things last night and if I publish to a shorter path, it seems to work OK. If I publish to my project output which is incidentally a Dropbox location, it does not seem to create the file.
Thanks for letting me know about the file path - as you'll see described here, there is a 260 character limit (as imposed by Microsoft) and if your file path is already approaching that and you try to publish it could cause issues as the publish will add additional length to the file path. Normally Dropbox is installed in a local drive, but if yours is installed differently that could be causing the issue as well.

Hi Ewan,
What update of Storyline are you currently using? We're currently on update 5 and I know there was a fix specific to publish to word failing within update 4.
Hi Ashley, thanks for the reply.

Thanks again,
