We've got a new computer with Word 2013 on it. Storyline does not publish to Word. No error. No .doc file is generated in the destination publish folder.
Are you checking in file explorer, or just looking through the open function in Word? If the latter, change the file type to all Word files, or all files.
Hi Sam! Strange indeed. I know we had an issue previously reported here and I'm not sure what version/update you are utilizing to know if this is applicable. Are you having difficulty with all project files? You may want to work directly with our support team here if needed and logs can be checked.
Well, glad to hear that you got it sorted :) Thanks for an update to your situation. We don't tend to ask many questions when it works right...I totally get it :)

Also this is an old post, but may still be valid:

Windows explorer, using SL's "Open Location", there is no .doc or .docx

Hi Sam!
Are you publishing as shown in this tutorial?
Here is what my file path looks like:
Well, we publish as we always do, but we don't use "My Articulate Projects" in the path.
When we click "VIEW DOCUMENT" nothing happens. If we click "OPEN" (the folder), there is nothing there.
Yes, all the slides have notes.
Yes, this is the local drive, not a network drive.
This is strange.

I have more experimentation to do. We will try uninstalling / reinstalling some things over the weekend to see if it clears up the issue.

Sounds great Sam :) You know where to find us.
We found an error with the template. All is well now. I don't have details as someone else fixed it... Sorry!
