Publish to Word

Hello,
I can't seem to publish to Word from Storyline. I have followed the steps in your tutorials but seem to get an additional step not included in your tut. The following screen displays after I hit Publish.
If I leave the settings as default it won't save. If I change the Save as type settings to *.docx I can save. Then when I click View Document nothing happens. I can open the published word doc but it is empty. I have Word 2013. When I publish I don't have any other word docs open.
Any clues as to how to solve this problem?

The folder displayed is most likely restricted by your security settings.
Select another location to save the file (example: libraries > Documents) or your Desktop.

Thanks for your response Dennis.
I have tried those options with no difference in the result. When I publish and try viewing the document I can’t open it. I can open the saved document using windows explorer but there is nothing in it and it is only about 40kb in size.

Hi Dennis – bit of an update. I just tried publishing on another machine running Office 2010 and there were no problems. Is it something to do with Office 2013?

Most likely your installation of Office 2013, I run 2013 and do not have this issue.
I cannot assist you further with your Office installation, however, I still beleive it tyo be security related.
