I've published an Articulate Storyline 2 project into word, ticking "Show layers" and "Show slide notes". The output shows all the text within the slide as an image. How can I convert / publish the text so that we can edit it for review purposes?
Hi Andre! Thanks for reaching out here. This isn't a functionality for publishing to Word. Publishing for word is a great option to use for reviewing a course and printing, however it won't be editable. Any edits to a course must be done using the .story project file right in Storyline 2 itself, not to the published output.
We do it by putting the text into the notes section so our editor can check the file without needing Storyline but was hoping that it would be possible by now to edit within the Word publishing options
Lot's of updates to storyline in 360, but this one fell through the cracks. With so many request for this option, there is some underlying reason why they have not incorporated it - maybe legal issues and associated cost (payments to Microsoft).
