I think the answer to this is no, but I'm going to ask anyway...
Is there a way to publish a Storyline course to Word without showing hotspots? (I know I can go through the course and change the transparency or color of all the hotspots, but this isn't feasible for what I need in the moment.)
The Storyline slides are turned into images upon publishing to Word, so there isn't a way to edit those hotspots after the fact. They're included in the Word publish, since without the image there wouldn't be a way to indicate that's where the learner would click.
I understand that the slides are turned into images so the indication for the interactions would be hidden, but any and all objects can be interactive, even if it isn't a hotspot... so indicating interactions being the reason seems irrelevant, you know?
I guess the real question is more of a feature request in the publish settings... What I am getting at is: can it be an option to show or hide the hotspot on the word export, just like there is an option to show or hide slide notes and layers?
Since I'm asking here, should I still submit a feature request or can this be the start of it?

This can certainly be the start of it and I've submitted it on your behalf, Erin.
