I just finished my first eLearning course with about 100 slides in total. I published as HTML5 and I found that right before my first quiz, the slides stop loading properly which leads to the whole eLearning crashing.
I am wondering if it is because there are too many slides?
Hi Carolyn, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! We're glad you're here. 😀
100 slides is definitely well within the normal range, so let's figure out what else could be causing this crash! What version of Storyline are you using, 3 or Storyline 360?
Can you also let me know the following:
Where are you uploading/testing the content?
What browsers are you viewing your HTML5 output in?
Did the course Preview normally without any freezing/crashing at that slide?
What's on that slide prior to your quiz? Anything media rich like a long video, audio, or animated GIF?
Knowing that information may help us spot the issue, and it would also really help to take a look at your .story file and give it a test! If you can share it with us here, use the Add Attachment button to upload as a part of your reply. We'll take a look as soon as we can!
