I have a course that is working fine on my desktop. But when I publish it for LMS use, some of the functionality doesn't work. Specifically, some states are not changing as designed. Any ideas why that might be?
I've attached a sample .story file if that helps. When you preview it, and click one of the boxes, you should see the box grayed out, as per the screen shot attached. But when you publish it, and then view it, the box doesn't gray out.
Thanks for sharing this example file with us. I took a look at it in Storyline 2, and published for LMS to upload here to SCORM Cloud. I viewed it in Chrome, and was able to click on the boxes and see the visited state of each item upon returning to the main base layer slide. Can you test that link and let me know how it behaves for you?
If it's still not working right, let me know what browser and if you have Flash disabled or not. Since some browsers have started to block Flash by default I'd want to make sure you're viewing the course in a supported browser for HTML5.
Thanks for the extra detail, Eric! I tested your file in Storyline 2 and saw the same issue you described in just the HTML5 output in Chrome – here's a quick Peek of what I saw. I started with the HTML5 output and finished with the Flash one.
Really strange! I'd like to get another look on this and have shared both of our findings with our Support Engineers. They'll be in touch shortly – I'll also follow along and share all updates here, as needed!
Hi, Eric! Great question – my apologies for not sharing that above: I tested the HTML5 output in Chrome, Safari, IE11, and Firefox where I saw the visited state not showing issue appear in just Chrome and Safari. IE11 and Firefox worked fine. I'm also very curious to know what's causing this and will follow the case closely – expect an email from support@articulate.com soon!
I took a peek at your case this morning and saw that our team logged the visited state not displaying issue in Chrome and Safari (HTML5 output) as a possible bug. Appreciate you bringing this wonky behavior to our attention!

Thanks, Ashley!
Interesting. It's still not working in Chrome, but I tried it in FF and it's working fine. So if people are using Chrome, what do they need to do?

So, is that just happening in Chrome or other did you test in other browsers?
Guess it's good to know I'm the first at something!
