I have a client whose LMS (medworxx) does not support video in MP4, only in FLV. Articulate seems to publish the files as MP4 regardless of whichever format is used to import the video.
Here's how Storyline encodes movies you insert into your courses, based on the file format of the videos and the publishing options you choose:
* For a list of supported video file formats, click here.
If the LMS doesn't currently support MP4 files, they should be able to install the MIME type for MP4. If they're not able to do so, you could try using SWF videos instead, but as you'll see above, this won't be supported in HTML5.
For information on installing the MIME type, please see the following article:

MP4 videos require a MIME type on your server to play properly
The process isn't too complicated, so hopefully Medworxx will be able to work with you on this.
Thanks and welcome again! :)
Thank you Christine,
That was a very helpful answer! I will get back to the client, it is really great to be able to give them a DIY answer and We'll Fix It too.
I will let you know how it plays out.
Thanks Again.
Hi there Peter,
Awesome! Glad that helps :)
I certainly hope they're able to implement this for you. I know it would definitely save you some time and work down the line.
Have a wonderful day and good luck!
Christine
