There isn't a log that is created as a part of the publish, but if Storyline is crashing and causing an error message there is a log created as a part of that. You may want to follow the steps here to pull the error log and then we'll want to have you send it to our Support Engineers.
Thanks Ashley it was more a general question as I was trying to help Linda with her publishing issue. Other software I've used has a publish log that highlights where errors occur which makes troubleshooting easier. Just thought I'd ask.
It would be a great element to add for sure - but it's not something that currently exists in Storyline or Studio. The closest you'd see to when an error occurs is watching the publish window to see what slide it freezes or stops on.
I have windows 10 and don't receive a "run administrator" option when I right mouse click on the .bat file. Please advise what I can do to capture the logs. Thanks

Hi Jennifer
You're talking about the sl2Logs.zip file that contains the two batch files. Have you extracted the files from the zip folder.
i'm running Windows 10 and I downloaded the zip, extracted the files, and right click > run as administrator displays as expected.
