publishing format query
Feb 15, 2014
Hi ,
New to this game I've produced my first module that has a number of questions that I'm assuming will collate automatically the answers and publish for each person.
I'm using the course in a rural africa in a little e-learning centre and we have have rather slow computers.
How should I publish this course, should it go to googl drive to download to a usb stick or should I load a stick and take over there and unzip to the PC's?
Do all formats add the score on the questions or is there a preferable option. We only have PC's and netbooks out there,
really value you're advice out there,
many thanks
David

Hi David,
Having Flash loaded on the PC's & netbooks is the first step. Then you can publish for web and copy the output folder to a usb stick or network drive, so you can then distribute and deploy as intended.
Hope this helps,
Alex
many thanks Alex, appreciated

Hi David,
You'll definitely want Flash loaded on all the computers, and I'd also look into publishing for CD and sharing that with the users either through a USB stick or CD, as viewing published output on a local drive could cause you to encounter security restrictions or elements of your content to fail as described here.
