I keep getting an error message (we all do) when trying to puclish as a Word document. I choose enable macros and then it takes forever and sometimes I get a message that says
The folder output is read-only and being used by another process or you do not have proper secutiry permission to access this resource.
Could you tell us a bit more about your set up and what happens when publishing? Do you see an error message right after publishing (no publish successful box) or when trying to access the file? Also, what version of Storyline are you using (we're currently on update 5) and what version of Word do you have?
Also, if you'd like to share your Storyline file with us we're happy to take a look. If you'd prefer not to share in the forums I can send you directions to share with me privately.

Hi Cindy,
are you publishing this to a local drive ? If so try publishing it to your c-drive.
Reboot your computer, top make sure that there is no phantom process using Word in the background
