Publishing Problem
Jun 21, 2014
I've just completed my first Storyline presentation and published it. But now I can't find it. The address says it was posted to:
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\Documents\My Articulate Projects
The program entered that address automatically, but it isn't showing up in My Articulate Projects as my Presenter 13 projects did. What am I doing wrong?

A quick way to find your published project is to click the 'Open Folder' button after it was published. That only shows you the published content in the Windows Filemanager, but also lets you see the directory path to the content.
I've had Articulate troubles with a couple of different antivirus programs.
Here's the latest:

I use McAfee. Will it do it with that one too? If so, how do I correct it. Sorry, I'm pretty much computer illiterate.
I tried looking in the folder and got this message. See below.
I had a virus a week ago. Could it be that it's back and is sending stuff to a locked folder again?
Hi Melanie,
I haven't heard of issues specific to McAfee - but if you previously had a virus that was causing your files to be moved or sent to a locked folder, it sounds like it may have reoccurred. Do you have an IT team who can assist you in working through the virus and recovering any files? You could also try republishing the .story file again and do as Michael suggests to see what the published file path is.
