Hello I am using SL2 Build 1410 and have been publishing the same way I always have with TinCan API etc. Once I upload to our ATMS LMS system (only if published with SL2) I receive a 508 error. What am I doing wronghere, I have never had this issue in the past when publishing with SL1. I published to a test CBT with SL1 and everything works great but when publish with SL2 I get this every time.
That error is documented here in regards to trying to access the content once published to your LMS - but it sounds like you're also receiving this error when uploading the file?
Have you also tested loading the course at SCORM Cloud, as it's an industry standard testing method for SCORM content.

Since the error message indicates it's LMS specific, there isn't a fix from our side for that issue. Were you able to test the course at SCORM Cloud, as that'll help us determine if there may be something wrong with the course or how SL2 published for Tin Can.
Phil, How would I find that? Is there a way to change this? My fear is that the three people here are now using SL2 and if we can not publish to ATMS (our LMS) we will have to reproduce each of the products we are currently working on. (aka weeks of work)
Thanks for sharing that Phil - I had forgotten about that part. Here's the documentation regarding the Tin Can version for Storyline 2. I'd suggest reaching out to your LMS team regarding what Tin Can versions they support.

It does work on the cloud. But still no luck on our LMS, like i said if i publish with SL1 works great SL2 no work. Just kinda confused.

SL2 uses v1 of xAPI whereas SL1 used .95 do you know which version your LMS uses?

As Lesley says I would contact your LMS team, as it works in scormcloud it looks like some implementation of your LMS is causing issues.

Storyline 2 works with Tin Can version 1.0 as you can see in this documentation.
