Publishing problem woes

Jun 12, 2014

Okay, so I am rather frustrated but realize this can be chalked up to being a new user.

So, when I publish to the web and try to utilize Google drive as my platform I don't seem to get any where.  I changed the file story.html to index.html as recommended in another thread. However, when I click on it I get an HTML code and nothing that resembles the course I have in Articulate.

So, what am I doing wrong?

Help greatly appreciated.

Oh....the link to the file is https://drive.google.com/a/feacinstitute.org/?tab=wo#folders/0B3eRY4M53TbidWVlSzd3OG16REU   in case anyone wants to take a direct look.

Thanks, Cort

Hi Cort,

Welcome to the community!

Have you seen Mike's post on this topic? I'm thinking you may have already seen it, but I did want to point out a couple of things he mentioned in the post.

1. From within the folder containing your published content, copy the characters after drive.google.com/#folders/  from the address bar as shown below.

Host Published Articulate Projects for Free With Google Drive

2. Then, to get the link you to use for sharing with others, paste those copied characters to the end ofhttp://googledrive.com/host/

Is that how you're accessing the URL/course? Try to make sure you're not opening the direct HTML file or you'll only see the code.
