Publishing SCORM package

Dec 16, 2020

Hi!

I am new to Articulate Storyline 360, but I am creating content to be uploaded via SCORM to an e-learning website using Learndash. When I uploaded the content at first, it was unresponsive to browser changes, but I reuploaded it including the player controls as I read it is the player that is responsive not the content. Now when I upload the xAPI content, it appears with a very large white box at the top?

Is there anyway to get around this border? or get the file to be responsive without the need for the player controls?

Thanks!

Hi Pete,

It's hard to tell from the screenshot but there's a couple of possibilities here.

1) Are you using the Storyline 360 modern player with a white theme? If so, then the size of the player is affected by the size of the window you view the course in. The "extra" white space may just be the player filling your browser window. To "fix" it, you'd need to resize your browser window. I know in some LMSs (I haven't used LearnDash) this is a setting you can choose when setting up the content in the LMS - especially if it's opening the content in a new window.

2) if you aren't using the modern player, then this could be just the way LearnDash displays content. I have run into LMSs that add their own "skin" to content and those settings would be within the LMS itself.

Hope this helps narrow things down a little though. All the best!
