I am wanting to share my storyline content via weblink. I saved to my local drive as instructed but then when i try and share with colleagues the link doesn't work.
I work for a consultancy, so the aim would be to create and then share storyline content with clients (for them to then use internally). Is it possible to do this when publishing to web browser? The reason I want it as a web link is so that clients can share the content via email/ social channels with employees in communications rather then them having to go to the LMS.

The step you are missing when publishing your content to the web is Step 6 in this documentation:
Now that you've published your course, it's time to upload it to a server and give it a test run. Then send learners a link to the story.html file.
Do you have a webserver where you can host the content? This will allow you to share a URL with your colleagues as expected.
If you are sharing the published output for others to load on their webserver, then you can zip the content from the publish successful dialog box and send the zip file to others to upload to their web servers, which will then give them links to share with their contacts.
