Hi having significant issues trying to publish to word from MAC with windows parallels set up for storyline and articulate
It publishes by creating the folder at the file location but then the folder is empty? Suggestions please?
Have gone through every step of the publishing to word file and also the discussion boards for trust sites and permissions etc but keep getting empty folder..
You'll want to ensure that Word is not open as well, and that you're publishing exclusively within the Windows environment. I run VMWare on a Mac and I know a few of our team also runs Parallels so fi you want to share the .story file we're happy to test out publishing it as well. You can upload it here using the "add attachment" button.
I too am running Storyline with Parallels from a Mac and am having trouble printing with the Word option. I have MS Office for Mac. Should I be able to publish with what I have or do I specifically need to have MS Word for Windows?
Leslie: It sounds as though in order to export to Word from Storyline we need to not only have bought Parallels but also buy Microsoft Word for Windows. That seems extreme just to be able to export to Word from Storyline. I have the Office suite for Mac and would like to keep costs down. Please let me know there's another way. Thanks!

have you checked the Word dialogue box isn't open behind SL? Is word in Parallels or on your MAC?

I use Parallels, but I have both Storyline and Word in Parallels.

Yes - you'll need a version of Office and a virtual machine such as Parallels, VMWare or Bootcamp.
