Pulling Captivate 6 quiz results into storyline

Hi everyone.

I've always been able to find answers on this forum and everyone is always so helpful. I'm hoping to find an answer today as well.

I have a large number of Captivate files and quizes (about 45 each) that need to be presented in Storyline 2. So far, I am able to insert a Captivate SWF file into storyline and all of its functionality seems to work great (i.e. click boxes, text entry, etc.). However, I need to find a way to capture the quiz results from Captivate and use those results to change a variable in Storyline. The user MUST pass the quiz in order to continue.

I know this topic has been discussed here but, I'm very new to JavaScript and I need more thourough instructions; step by step.

Any help is appreciated.
