In Storyline 2, I would like to populate slide with: "On the pre-quiz question about employee retention, you picked _______________________ [fills in with text of whichever option they chose on the earlier quiz slide]."
Then, if they were right, "Excellent. Blah, blah, blah." If they were wrong, "A better choice would have been blah, blah, blah."
How can I make this happen? (The second part is less critical, if I had to choose one or the other.)
If I am understanding your request properly, you would need to use a variable that would change to (whatever the answer you selected would be). Then, on a later slide, you would need a variable reference for that particular answer. Please see following tutorials:
Thanks, Christie, it's a helpful answer that matches up to the way I started tinkering through it. I set up a variable for each question, and then put in triggers so each radio button for a given question would set the variable value to the text of the answer. Sure seems the long way around for something as short as a 10-question quiz.
