Okay - this issue has me flummoxed. I have added markers to the master that pulse when the timeline ends. The master is applied to all the slides. Half work and Half don't. I can't see anything different in the slides that don't work that would keep them from working.
It sounds like you've set up a custom animation for the marker pulsing, instead of using the built in pulse as that cannot be triggered. I'd suggest checking what other triggers or elements may be interferring with the pulse on that slide - is it set to pulse when the timeline ends on the marker or on the slide itself? Is it possible that if it's the latter there are other triggers that are firing and you're a not able to see the pulse?
I had a problem with the pulsing triggers once as well. Turned out I hadn't put anything in the boxes. Maybe type something in each one and see if that works. But, yes, sharing the file helps. Good luck with this!
