Question Banks to Randomize Video Clips
Sep 25, 2014
Hi again,
In a previous post I was trying to figure out how to randomize the presentation of media files to participants in the course I am creating.
As a result of a fantastic work around (provided by Emily Burnett) creating a new scene with my 6 discrete videos as slides to draw into a question bank was suggested. This work around is SO close to working for me but I am hitting one snag. When I get to my question bank slide, even though I have it randomized and set to draw only 1 of the 6 possible video slides, all 6 are layered on the same slide and begin to all play at once!
I guess the silver lining is that they are all there and working! However, if anyone could help me sort out a way to only play one randomized video from the bank at a time that would be really appreciated.
Sincerely,
Joseph McCabe

Hi Joseph,
That sounds particularly odd if they're all set up as individual question slides each with a video. Are you able to share the .story file here with us to take a look at?
You'll also want to confirm you're working on local project files as described here.
Hi Ashley,
I've been trying to upload the story for the past 2 hours and keep receiving this message after the .story file reaches 100% uploaded:
404 - File or directory not found.
The resource you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.
I wish I could provide more information to help solve this but it is looking less likely.
Hi Joseph! Sorry to hear that you are having difficulty, perhaps it would be best for you to upload the file here.
