Question Elimination from Question Bank

Is there a way to eliminate questions from a question bank once they’ve been asked?  I’m working on a flashcard game where the user clicks on a card and is asked a series of three questions drawn from a bank (so it’s random every time the game is launched).   After the three questions, the user is taken back to the main page to select another card.  Upon clicking another card, the user is shown three new questions chosen from the same bank at random.  This repeats until all cards have been selected and the score is presented.

The problem I’m running into is that when the first card is selected, the first group of questions is presented and the user is returned to the main page as expected.  On the second card draw, the user may be shown the SAME set of three questions that they just saw.

So, I’m trying to figure out a way to prevent the same questions from being asked during the same game.  When the series of three questions is asked, it needs to be eliminated from the question bank so it won’t be asked again.

Anyone have any ideas?
