Question Feedback question

Jun 12, 2012

I have included a link with an example of the functionality wish to create.

In this drag and drop question, when i click submit a tick or red symbol appears to tell me which are correct and which are wrong.  Is there a tutorial on how to do this, i dont see the states available when i try.

Also is this same functionality avilable in a multiple responce graded quiz?

Whoever created this interaction added the  tick and red symbol to the Drop Correct and Drop Incorrect states associated with each of the label images.

So if you want to do this for your own drag and drop activity, you have to edited the states for each of the Drag Items.

To do this select one of your drag items, then click the States tab that is beside the timeline - you will notice that the item only has one state at this point so click Edit States and then click the icon that looks like a piece of paper to add a new state. In the new state drop down list, select Drop Correct.  At this point this state looks exactly like the normal state, but you can now work with the image to make it look however you want - to add the tick insert the symbol that looks like the check mark.

Repeat these steps to add the Drop Incorrect state.

Hope this helps.

Hi ste -

I'm traveling today, but wanted to follow up to make sure you got what you needed with that template. Nancy's advice is spot on, but please let us know if you have any questions.

Here's a quick Screenr on how you can customize the interaction's drag states. I apologize in advance for the audio quality--I'm traveling and didn't bring my travel mic. First time I didn't bring it with me and this is the second time I've had to record audio. Murphy's Law, right?

Anyway, I hope this helps. I'll put some more videos together around using and customizing all those templates.
