How do I update an old storyline. I have mine zipped, but I don't see all the actual "black" storyline that I did in the past. How can I get to all of them, are they saved someplace?
Hi, Kathleen, and welcome to the community! May I ask the obvious first: have you checked in the Recycle Bin in the event they were accidentally deleted? And also, which folder are you in that is pictured in the screenshot above? We always recommend that you work locally as described here, so your files may be either in your desktop folder or on your C: Drive. You may even want to open a new Storyline file, and do a Save As to see where it would save based on your previous saves.
I should also note that unfortunately there is no way to recover the .story file from the published output folders you are showing in your screenshot above, so you'll always want to save the .story file before publishing moving forward. Please let us know if you are able to locate your files. :)
Fantastic news, Kathleen -- we're delighted to hear it, and appreciate the update! :)
I also wanted to note that when you reply via email, your signature is displayed here in the threads publicly, so please feel free to edit to remove that information if you wish.
No problem, Kathleen -- you would be welcome to leave your signature if you prefer, but we always like to alert folks who may not be aware, and would rather not share their contact info in the threads. :)

If you have storyline 2 all the icons for storyline 1 files will be updated to the new icon, they have not disappeared only the icon has changed.
Good call, Phil -- thanks for adding that, as well! :)
Thank you so much...I did find them!
