In one of our Storyline courses one of our users has had a problem with matching drag and drop questions not allowing them to continue until they give the correct answer. Has anyone any ideas as to why this might be happening?

I think you probably have the attempts set to unlimited
Is it only happening to the one user, or are you able to recreate the behavior when you test it yourself? If you see it as well, I'd also check that the slide isn't being "revisited" from the incorrect layer and being "reset to initial state" within the slide properties as that would treat it like the user hadn't seen it before.
Thanks for your reply, at the moment it's only to one user as the course is in a test situation with our client. I'm awaiting more information from him as to which question(s) this is happening on as at present I can't replicate the problem. I'll come back to you once I have a full answer.
Thanks Anne - please keep us posted on the additional testing and if you're able to replicate it. You may want to look at any of the differences between how you've tested it vs. the other user - such as browser, flash version, etc.

hi anne, this is called Restricted or sometimes referred to as "Interactive restricted"
there are two to three methods to restrict the navigation. you have to remove that conditions/triggers to move ahead

Thanks Rehan and Phil, I have the attempts set to 1. Is ther anything else I could check?
