Question on Video

Feb 05, 2015

Hi all,

I created a lesson which used a software simulation, which works fine. The recording was used in 'Try Mode' and I don't have any problems with it.

I'm also building an assessment for users which covers the process in the lesson, along with lots of other stuff. I thought it may save me some time to reuse the video in 'Test Mode' in the new assessment file, but I'm struggling to find a way to import it and set it up to test mode.

Is this possible? Once a video has been selected in a certain mode, is that it? will it forever be in try mode or test mode?

I'm going to re-record the actions I want to do, as it seems that will be quicker, but I'd love to know if I'm missing a trick here...   Any advice welcome.

Thanks,

Paul

Hello Paul!

If you are in the same file, you should be able to reuse the same video again. Just click on the Record Screen option, and select it again from the drop down. You can insert it as whichever mode you would like in a new scene or the same scene. If you are in a new file, you may want to do a save as on the previous file with the screen recording and import the file into your new file.
