You might want to check the attempts set for the questions. Check out this tutorial. Scroll down to the section titled "Editing Questions". Make sure that the attempts are not set to "Unlimited". If it is, they'll keep getting that prompt to retry the question.
Quick check and I found one question had unlimited retries. Odd that I'd hit that one.
New problem now... If I get an incorrect answer, clicking the "continue" link in the incorrect answer does nothing. Shouldn't it proceed to the next question or result slide?
Assigning result slides and adjusting slide properties
When you import a Quizmaker quiz into Storyline, the result slide from the quiz will automatically be imported as well, and each of your imported questions will be associated with that result slide in Storyline.
Tip: After importing a Quizmaker quiz into Storyline, you'll need to edit the imported result slide to ensure that it includes all the options you want. The pass and fail result slides from Quizmaker get consolidated into a single result slide in Storyline, so some settings will not be selected in Storyline regardless of what is selected in Quizmaker, such as the options to display the user's score and the passing score .
Note that Storyline also supports multiple result slides in the same story, so you can change the result slide that is associated with each question at any time.
You can assign individual questions to a particular result slide when you're in Normal View by using the Results Slidedrop-down list in the Questionpanel on the right side of the screen. You can assign each question to any of your existing result slides, or select Noneif you do not want this question to be included in any result slides.
For more information on creating and editing result slides, see this tutorial.
You can also assign multiple question slides to the same result slide all at once by switching to Story View, selecting the question slides you want to modify, and then using the Slide panel in the lower right corner of the window to adjust the properties for all the selected slides at the same time.
Your assistance has been a help building a results slide that I think will work well.
As for the question not proceeding to the result slide after clicking "continue" on incorrect feedback. It seems that was because I was drawing only one question randomly from the question group. The triggers, which were set to "next slide" would only transition to the result slide if it was the last question in the group.
The solution was to edit the "incorrect answer" layer trigger on each question in the group to transition to the result slide.
This begs another question... What if I wanted to draw two questions randomly from a group. What should the continue trigger bet set to?
I have a few variances in Storyline that you may be able to explain.

I don't see these properties. Is this because I imported from Quizmaker? The snapshot that follows shows one question bank. The Slide properties field is blank.

Hi Sam!

Let me know if this helps.
Have a great Friday!

I just checked, and the Incorrect feedback trigger is definitely set to "next slide".
Hi Sam
Is this the method you're using?

Hi Sam,
It shouldn't be because of the import.
I put together a quick story file with an imported .quiz.
Here's what it looks like for me:
Were your quiz questions grouped in Quizmaker? Mine were, and each group imported to a unique question bank.
Maybe the difference is mine is a question bank, yours is a question.
