Question w/ building Flashcards

Sep 17, 2015

Hello There,

I came across a dilemma where if I'm using a pic as an object to do a transition of going from term to definition, and it does not present well - meaning the pic transitions in from the left side and I don't want that.  Whereas if i use a shape an an object the color changes from term to definition as part of my transition per se not so much sliding in from the left side.  I apologize in advance if the explanation in unclear, but I do have an attached of my example so please take a look and shed some light here if you can! =)

Note: My settings are identical in Scene 1 and 2; however, the results are not the same.  I would like to use pictures; however, I like the transition to be excatly as going from DEF ==> TERM on Scene 2.

Alan,

The difference is that on slide 2, the picture has a fly in from left animation. On slide 1, the shape does not have an animation.

Another difference (which I do not think is part of your problem) is that on the definition layer on Slide 1 the trigger jumps to the slide, while the definition layer trigger on slide 2 hides the layer. This may make a slight difference in how they return to the term layer.

Hi Alan,

As Walt mentioned slide 2 has animations associated with it, on the base layer and the slide layer objects. The jump to slide trigger vs. hiding the layer, could also be showing a difference as it's reloading the slide vs. hiding something on a slide.
