Question: Why an embedded Screencast will not play in slide?

Briefly:

  • I captured a Screencast using Storyline and loaded it in a slide. It is a long video (about 56 mins)
  • But while it plays in Edit/Preview mode
  • It will not play when I preview the slide despite the fact the settings are set to play in-slide automatically.

Suggestions?

It sounds like you can preview the entire project, but not the slide with the recording by itself. Is that right?

If so, do any error messages appear? Also, would you mind sharing your .story with us for testing? You can send it privately by using this upload link. We'll have a closer look and delete the file after troubleshooting!
